Abstract

Swami Vivekananda, an important person in the Indian Renaissance, was a philosopher, spiritual leader, and social reformer whose ideas transcended the realm of religion. His contemplations on society and education were profoundly interconnected, rooted in his perspective on human potential, national resurgence, and societal advancement. His perspective fused patriotism with a comprehensive dedication to humanity, presenting a kind of nationalism that is both grounded and universal. His impact on the leaders of the Indian freedom movement and his persistent relevance in contemporary discussions over identity, unity, and governance underscore the lasting importance of his views. Vivekananda posited that a nation's advancement is contingent upon the development of character, self-sufficiency, and an all-encompassing educational framework that fosters both intellect and ethics.
